The South Carolina Democratic Party is thrilled to announce the launch of a critical initiative that will shape our path forward – Project Roadmap: Charting a Course to Victory for South Carolina Democrats.
South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Christale Spain and South Carolina Democratic Party Executive Director Jay Parmley released the following statement about this historic task force:
“We are done letting MAGA extremism spread throughout our state unchecked. That’s why we’ve assembled a group of South Carolinians – community activists, political strategists, and elected leaders – who will unify our Party in an effective, Democratic direction. This task force will allow trusted Democratic community members to propose strategic recommendations on crucial Party activities like Voter Engagement, Coordinated Campaign Models, Candidate Recruitment and Training, along with support for candidates at all levels.
“As Republicans campaign on ripping freedoms away and promoting division with their foolish culture wars, Democrats are committed to using every tool in our toolbox to make sure we elect South Carolinians focused on protecting access to health care, strengthening public education, and making sure working families in the Palmetto State can put food on the table.”
Watch a livestream of the Task Force’s first organizational meeting this Sunday at 3pm on the Party’s Facebook page. This meeting will mark the beginning of a collaborative effort over the next six months to build a Roadmap for 2024 and define the SCDP’s role, setting us on a path to future success.
