“Trump has shown us time and time again that he doesn’t care about the people of South Carolina. But you know who he does care about? The ultra-wealthy and the powerful,” said Rep. Ivory Thigpen. “Trump spent every minute in office kneecapping working families while shelling out money to rich folks and corporations…Donald Trump has never put the American people first. He uses his power to line the pockets of his special interest donors at the expense of working families, and he would do the same again if elected.”

“As a South Carolinian, I’ve seen the stark difference between Trump’s failures and President Biden’s successes for working families like mine. Donald Trump spends his time railing against the economic achievements made in the past two years under the Biden-Harris administration and promising to roll back the progress they’ve delivered because he’d rather score cheap political points with his MAGA base than actually deliver plans that work for South Carolinians,” said James Horch. “My union friends and folks I know across the state have better job opportunities thanks to the Biden infrastructure law which has already invested billions into replacing lead water pipes, laying the groundwork to expand broadband for rural communities, and rebuilding our roads and bridges. South Carolinians are hard at work building us a better state and they wouldn’t have these job opportunities if not for Biden and Harris.”
