SCDP Chair Trav Robertson Jr. on South Carolina Democratic Primary Debate
Columbia, SC — It was announced today that the South Carolina Democratic Party, partnered with the DNC, Congressional Black Caucus Institute, CBS News, and Twitter will hold the 10th primary debate on February 25, 2020 in Charleston, South Carolina. Chairman Robertson released the following statement:
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome all of our partners to South Carolina for this debate. We have seen an exciting primary campaign, and holding a debate in Charleston just four days before South Carolina votes will be an excellent way to finish our primary season.”
“By welcoming all these national Democrats to the Lowcountry, we will be ready to energize our base in South Carolina, and kick off what will be a tremendously successful 2020 campaign. It will give our candidates a chance to talk about the issues facing South Carolina like healthcare, the rights of women, and the environment right in our State.”
