DID LINDSEY GRAHAM ATTEMPT TO ILLEGALLY COERCE THE SCEC??

“Graham’s efforts to steal elections in Arizona and Georgia should force an investigation into his efforts of illegally stealing his election in South Carolina.”

COLUMBIA, SC— The South Carolina Democratic Party points out that  Lindsey Graham’s collusion effort with Donald Trump to overturn the 2020 Presidential election result in Georgia just one day ahead of the State’s historic special election should force a review of his conduct in South Carolina.

Reporting shows Graham has encouraged his fellow Republicans to tamper with the Georgia vote tally by eliminating legally cast votes. This is a new low for Senator Graham who insists on bringing further shame to this State, by openly aiding and abetting Donald Trump’s failed attempts to thwart the will of millions of voters and disrupt what should otherwise be a peaceful and transition of power to the Biden administration.

South Carolina cannot stand by while the imploding Republican party continues to erode and eviscerate the rule of law. While South Carolina has no congressional recall provision, elected officials like Lindsey Graham must pay a price for working against the most fundamental principles undergirding our democratic process.

“Today we submitted a FOIA request for all communications between Senator Lindsey Graham and Georgia election officials. Republican officials at the State and federal level are on record denying any evidence of widespread election fraud. Does Graham recognize voter fraud because he committed it? Robertson asked.”

South Carolina Democrats will not rest until each and every advocate for Trump’s illicit and illegal behavior, including Lindsey Graham are held accountable.
