DEMOCRATIC COORDINATED CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES HIRING OF STATE FIELD DIRECTOR AND REGIONAL FIELD ORGANIZERS

Columbia, SC – The 2016 South Carolina Democratic Coordinated Campaign is delighted to announce the hiring of our State Field Director and Regional Field Organizers.

Ernest Boston, Jr. has been hired as State Field Director. This is his second consecutive South Carolina coordinated campaign, having served as a field organizer on our 2014 effort. This election cycle, Ernest played a key role on the Bernie 2016 campaign, working as a Regional Field Director and then Deputy Field Director in South Carolina. He subsequently served in that capacity in Idaho, Alaska, and Maryland before returning to South Carolina to serve as campaign manager for Hyman for Congress in the 7th District. Ernest is the proud father of two sons, Taelur-Lee and Hayden-Dominic.

The newly hired Regional Field Organizers, along with their regions and the counties included within those regions, are:

SCDP Chair Jaime Harrison said, “Democrats plan to take our message to every corner of the state this year, and this stellar field staff will play an indispensable part in making that happen. South Carolinians from all walks of life are saying enough is enough of failed Republican governance, and our field program will help us earn voters’ trust to do a better job delivering opportunity, security, and unity.”
