As we gear up for the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, we are thrilled to announce our 2024 Delegate Selection Plan to select our Democratic candidate for President of the United States.
The SC Delegate Selection Plan draft was adopted by the State Executive Committee on April 15, and was made available for Democrats in SC to study and make comments for thirty days. The draft was created by the members of the Delegate Selection Plan Committee in cooperation with the members of the SCDP Affirmative Action Committee.
The Delegate Selection Plan was voted on and approved by the SCDP Executive Committee at their meeting held on Thursday, May 18. The 2024 Delegate Selection Plan provides details as to how to qualify to become a delegate candidate.
