Ahead of Nikki Haley’s town hall, South Carolina Democratic Party spokesperson Alyssa Bradley released the following statement:
“On Juneteenth, a day meant to celebrate the freedom and progress of Black Americans, Nikki Haley is holding a town hall to double down on her MAGA agenda of banning abortion nationwide, ending Social Security and Medicare as we know it, and promoting culture wars over delivering for working families — extreme, anti-freedom facets of her agenda that disproportionately harm Black South Carolinians and voters across the country. Haley is scrambling to compete with the rest of the 2024 field on who can push the more dangerous agenda forward, no matter which communities it impacts, and we’ll see more of that on display today in Moncks Corner.”

- Ralph Norman, one of Nikki Haley’s chief endorsers, admitted she would fully embrace Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda as president.
- During Haley’s CNN town hall, she refused to offer up solutions to gun violence, choosing to continue coddling the gun lobby over keeping our communities safe.
