SCDP Statement on S1. Fetal Heartbeat Act
Columbia, S.C.— SCDP Chair, Trav Robertson, Jr. released the following statement in response to Senate debate on Senate Bill 1:
“Today, the South Carolina Senate Republican Caucus led by Shane Massey, Richard Cash and Larry Grooms defended the rights of rapists and child molesters instead of the victims of incest, rape and molestation. It is a sad day when the Republican Party believes the rights of a child molester are more important than the victim.”
