SCDP Congratulates Our Democratic Nominees
Columbia, SC – South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Jaime Harrison released the following statement today on the results of yesterday’s Democratic primary elections:
“I am pleased to congratulate all of the winners of yesterday’s Democratic primaries for Congress and all state and local offices. As we await the runoffs on June 28, we begin moving forward to the general election with a dynamic and diverse group of candidates who will make stellar elected officials. I look forward to working with them to ensure Democratic victory in November.
“To all of the Democratic candidates on the ballot yesterday, I say thank you. Running for office requires real personal sacrifice, but it is the only way we can turn our state around and make our government work for all South Carolinians. With our nominees chosen, we stand united in working from now untilNovember 8 to lead Democrats to victory over the Party of Trump.”
