Columbia, SC— On Wednesday, August 19, the South Carolina Democratic Party will host a Democratic Primary debate for candidates running in the special election for SC Senate District 45. The debate will focus on health care, transportation, and education related issues.
The debate will be moderated by P.A. Bennett, host of Palmetto Scene on SCETV.
The panelists will include: Tumiko Rucker, CEO, Sea Island Comprehensive Health Care Corporation; Sarita Chourey, reporter for the Jasper County Sun Times, Bluffton Today and the Savannah Morning News; and Gina Smith, an editor for the Island Packet and Beaufort Gazette.
