Lindsey Graham has already broken his Oath and continues to serve Donald Trump
Columbia, SC —South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Trav Robertson, Jr., released the following statement regarding the impeachment trial beginning in the Senate:
“Today, Lindsey Graham took an oath to do ‘impartial justice’ in the Senate Impeachment Trial against Donald Trump.
But we know this is a lie. Although the case against Trump is clear and obvious, Lindsey won’t be impartial about anything during this trial. He made up his mind about this president years ago, and will defy justice, logic, and even his past self in order to protect and serve Donald Trump.
Representative Lindsey Graham, 20 years younger, once said witnesses are essential to a Senate Impeachment Trial, but now claims he is ready to vote without hearing from a single one. He also said that an ‘impeachable offense does not even have to be a crime,’ but now confronted with an actual crime, Lindsey still denies the facts. He claimed nominating Trump for the presidency in 2016 would destroy his own party, and they would “deserve it,” but now is one of the President’s strongest syphopants.
Only explanation I have is that Lindsey Graham no longer serves the American people, South Carolinians, or this country — he serves Donald Trump.”
