Aiken’s Drinking Liberally is now meeting twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
August dates are: Thursday, August 14 and Thursday, August 28, both are at 6:30 pm at the Tiki Tavern at the Hotel Aiken, 235 Richland Ave., Aiken.

Monday, August 18 @ 6:30 pm, Friendship Baptist Church, 515 Richland Ave. E., Aiken.
Guest Speaker: Susan Smith, President of the South Carolina Democratic Women’s Council.
The North Augusta Democratic Club will be joining the Aiken County Democratic Party’s August Hot Dog Social on Thursday, August 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the ACDP office located at 831 Hayne Ave. A donation of $10 per person for hot dog and side dishes. Children under 12 and students $5 donation. Guest speakers include Vincent Sheheen, Bakari Sellers, Brad Hutto, Nikki Setzler and Rosie Berry.
