COLUMBIA, SC — With 106 days left until Election Day 2020, South Carolina Democrats are recruiting 1500 volunteers to participate in a weekend of statewide, virtual, voter outreach and registration.

100 Days Out | Weekend of Action is SCDP’s official election season kick off and countdown to November 3rd, as the party looks to energize its base to elect Jaime Harrison and other Democrats up and down the ballot. Day 100 falls on Sunday, July 26.

“Senator Lindsey Graham is a relic from the past and Democrats all over our state are ready to vote in leaders who speak for a New South. South Carolina deserves elected officials that will stand up to Donald Trump and put Democracy over party. 100 Days Out is a reminder of how close we are to achieving that goal.” says Trav Robertson, Jr. SCDP Chair.

The 100 Days Out | Weekend of Action will culminate with a social media thunderclap and SCDP Instagram takeover July 24-25. On July 26, volunteers will engage voters via letter writing campaigns, phone and text banking. Democrats are additionally invited to drive through and pick up a Jaime Harrison yard sign at various county party locations from 4pm-6pm and show their support by posting images online.
