The South Carolina Democratic Party is thrilled to announce Dr. Miguel Cardona, Biden-Harris 2024 campaign surrogate and Congressman Ro Khanna (CA-17) as the special guest speakers during the first weekend of our 2023 Spratt Issues Conference: First in the Nation: The Road to the White House Goes Through South Carolina taking place on October 28 in Charleston, South Carolina.
South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Christale Spain and South Carolina Democratic Party Executive Director Jay Parmley released the following statement about the October conference:
“We’re honored to have Dr. Miguel Cardona and Congressman Ro Khanna speak to our Democratic community at the first 2023 Spratt Issues Conference as we come together in anticipation of our first in the nation primary and energize our base — Not only as we work toward beating the 2024 MAGA agenda, but to unite us in our efforts to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. We’re thrilled to have Dr. Cardona and Congressman Khanna inspire our members with their insights and perspectives.”
The 2023 Spratt Issues Conferences will take place over three weekends in Charleston, Spartanburg, and Columbia where Democrats from across the state will gather to discuss critical issues affecting the Palmetto State and equip our activists and party leaders with information about the tremendous accomplishments of Democrats as we gear up to send President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris back to the White House and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2024.
