“Today, Donald Trump, Iowa’s second place finisher, will bring his hateful and divisive campaign to South Carolina. Trump’s dangerous rhetoric would only further divide our state and our country, preventing us from making progress on the issues that matter most to working and middle class families.
“Soon, South Carolina voters will go to the polls, and the choices couldn’t be clearer. We can vote for Democrats that offer a substantive message for expanding opportunity so everyone has a fair shot, or vote for candidates like Trump who promise to drag our country backward.”
