LINDSEY GRAHAM LAMENTS FAILED RELATIONSHIP WITH TRUMP, IGNORES FOUR YEARS OF BLIND SUPPORT

SC Senator says he will fight to the death for Trump supporters’ right to object and that they’ve done nothing wrong. Calls Trump a consequential president

COLUMBIA, SC— Senator Lindsey Graham shamed South Carolina yet again. In a speech from the floor of the Senate, he lamented the loss of his friendship with Donald Trump, lauded the States (including South Carolina) who following the election of 1876 successfully exchanged their votes in order to uphold white supremacy in the South for another 100 years, and called Trump a “consequential president”.

This is on the heels of the U.S. Capitol being swarmed by a mob of Trump supporters who overwhelmed Capitol police, forcing Graham and his Congressional colleagues to be evacuated to undisclosed locations around Capitol Hill.

“It took an insurrection and his SC colleagues in the House engaging in treason for Lindsey Graham to accept what we all have known about Donald Trump from day one.” said Trav Robertson, Jr. SCDP Chair.

From the Senate floor, Graham addressed the Trump voters who aided his own re-election in the fall, saying, “It’s why I’m not with you, but I will fight to my death for you to be able to object, you’re not doing anything wrong, other people have objected.”

Republicans like Lindsey Graham, claim to love our country and democracy, but, have been complicit in the coup to overthrow our government and keep Donald Trump in office. Graham, Trump and every member supporting this effort must be arrested and tried for treason.
