SC Senator Vincent Sheheen is the featured speaker of the Oconee County Democratic Party fundraiser June 2 at South Cove Park in Seneca. Sheheen recently announced his 2014 gubernatorial candidacy.
“We’re pleased to welcome SC Sen. Vincent Sheheen at our June 2 event,” said Rosellen Aleguire, chair, Oconee County Democratic Party. “For us, featuring this fine candidate will really kick-off our 2014 election efforts!”
Other speakers include SC Rep Walt McLeod, Newberry; Melissa Watson, 2nd Vice Chair, SC Democratic Party, and Jay Parmley, South Forward.
In addition to the speakers, “Spring FORWARD FUN-draiser” will offer American picnic food, two bands, door prizes and great talk from 5 pm to 8 pm. Tickets are $20 apiece which includes park entry fee. Children under 10 are free.
