York County Democratic Party Welcome Back

6:00-9:00 PM

Come together in the heart of Rock Hill for an in-person welcome back for 2021! The event will be outdoors, with masks and physical distancing. Hear from local leaders, as well as special guest former Rep. Joe Cunningham. It’s been over a year since we’ve all been able to get together — come celebrate a new day and see the friends and compatriots you’ve missed!

Richland In-Towns Dems Monthly Meeting

Join the In Town Democrats of Richland County Monthly Meeting. As we are about 2 weeks out from the end of the 1st year of the 2-year legislative session. We will have guess speakers discuss the following:

  • The anti-transgender legislation before the General Assembly & the effects these proposals could have, if passed.
  • Efforts to call a US Constitutional Convention & its implications.
  • Paid Family Leave, its importance & significance, & its likelihood of becoming law

COVID APPOINTMENT ASSISTANCE

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The GCDP wants to make sure every Greenvillian who wants a shot can get a shot regardless of their level of computer acumen or transportation. For the next eight weekends, we’ll have call takers at our office ready to help callers find an appointment and, if needed, we’ll use the drivers who help us drive voters to the polls, to drive people to their shot appointments.

 

We’ll have callers Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

This is a non-partisan effort.

The 2021 SCDP State Party Convention will be held from May 19-22, 2021. Due to COVID-19, the State Convention will be presented virtually. Deadline for state party office to submit written notice of their candidacy to the Executive Director by Friday, April 23, 2021.
